Terms of Service
Text2Air Terms of Service
Last updated: 21 July 2026
These Terms govern use of Text2Air, an AI video infrastructure service for publishers, blogs and independent newsrooms. By using Text2Air, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Text2Air does
Text2Air helps publishers convert their own written articles into AI-presented, editor-approved, AI-disclosed video segments and scheduled video programming, and then store and distribute those videos through the publisher's own connected storage and accounts.
Text2Air is a software and production infrastructure service. Text2Air is not the publisher of the customer's journalism, does not own the customer's editorial decisions, and does not act as a fact-checker or legal adviser.
2. Publisher responsibility
You are responsible for:
- ensuring you own or have rights to all content you submit, import or connect;
- ensuring your CMS, feed, images, logos and media can legally be used for video production and distribution;
- reviewing and approving scripts before publication;
- checking accuracy, context, attribution and legal risk;
- ensuring your published content complies with applicable laws, platform rules and industry standards;
- managing your own YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, cloud storage, CMS and other connected accounts.
Text2Air does not scrape or republish content you do not own. The service is designed for publisher-owned or publisher-authorised content only.
3. Editorial approval
Text2Air is designed around human editorial approval. Draft scripts, AI-generated outputs and video segments must be reviewed by the publisher before publication unless a later supervised policy mode has been expressly configured. You remain responsible for final editorial sign-off.
4. AI-generated content and disclosure
Text2Air uses AI and media-generation tools to draft scripts, generate voice, render presenter video, compose video segments and prepare distribution assets. Text2Air applies AI disclosure labels and platform synthetic-content settings where supported. You must not remove, obscure or misrepresent AI disclosures generated by Text2Air.
5. Presenter consent
You must not use Text2Air to create, clone or render a person's likeness or voice without valid consent. Presenter avatars and voices may only be used within the scope of the recorded consent. If consent is withdrawn or expires, the affected presenter pathway may be blocked or related segments may be retired from eligibility.
Consent you record must inform the presenter that their voice and likeness will be processed by third-party AI providers and that, on some provider plans, those providers may use that data to improve their own AI models.
6. Connected accounts and OAuth
If you connect a YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, cloud storage or other third-party account, you authorise Text2Air to use that connection only for the functions you enable, such as uploading approved video segments, restreaming approved programming, or writing generated video files to your own storage.
You are responsible for maintaining your connected platform and storage accounts in good standing, including sufficient storage capacity and account permissions. Third-party platforms may change their APIs, policies, quotas, pricing or approval requirements. Text2Air is not responsible for the availability, security, policy decisions, account restrictions, quota decisions or outages of third-party platforms.
7. Storage of generated videos
Where you connect cloud storage such as Google Drive, generated videos are written to your own storage account, and you retain custody of those files. You are responsible for that storage account, including its capacity, access permissions and retention. If storage is disconnected, full or restricted, storing or publishing may fail, and Text2Air is not responsible for content that cannot be stored or delivered for those reasons.
8. Distribution and restreaming
Where you enable it, Text2Air may distribute or restream your approved programming to the accounts you have connected, including by live streaming to one or more destinations. You are responsible for the standing and platform compliance of those destination accounts. Live and continuous distribution depends on third-party platform availability and is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis.
9. Prohibited uses
You must not use Text2Air to:
- scrape or republish third-party content without permission;
- fabricate news or facts;
- impersonate a real person without consent;
- create non-consensual avatar or voice content;
- publish high-risk allegations without editorial review;
- remove or hide AI disclosure labels;
- violate copyright, privacy, defamation, consumer, advertising or platform rules;
- upload malware, unlawful material or abusive content;
- interfere with the security or operation of the service.
10. Customer content and ownership
You retain ownership of your content. You grant Text2Air a limited licence to process, transform, render, store, display, distribute and restream your content only as necessary to provide the service, operate connected workflows, write files to your connected storage, support you, comply with law and maintain audit records.
Text2Air retains ownership of its software, systems, workflows, templates, code, documentation, brand and platform intellectual property.
11. Third-party services
Text2Air relies on third-party services for AI drafting, voice generation, avatar rendering, video compositing, object storage, hosting, streaming, analytics, email, billing and distribution. The specific providers may change as the product evolves, and some providers may be located outside Australia. The categories of provider that process data on our behalf, and the country where each is located, are described in our Privacy Policy, and the named list is available on request. Your use of connected third-party platforms, including YouTube, TikTok and Facebook, may also be governed by those platforms' own terms and policies.
Your publisher content, and presenter voice and likeness, may be processed by third-party AI providers to produce your segments. You authorise that processing within the scope of your recorded consent and approvals. You acknowledge that on the provider plans Text2Air currently uses, a provider's terms may permit it to use submitted content, including presenter voice and likeness, to improve the provider's own AI models, that Text2Air does not control those terms and cannot reverse processing a provider has already performed, and that Text2Air uses available opt-out controls where offered and prefers plans that do not train on submitted content.
12. Service availability
Text2Air aims to operate reliably, including through monitoring, retries, queues and fallback programming where available. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, continuous availability, or that every upload, render, stream or platform action will complete successfully.
13. Fees and billing
Fees, plan limits, rendering costs, usage limits and payment terms will be set out in the applicable order form, plan page, invoice or written agreement. You are responsible for charges incurred under your account and for maintaining accurate billing details.
14. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create legal or platform risk, fail to pay fees, misuse the service, compromise security, or use the service in a way that could harm Text2Air, another customer, a platform provider or the public. You may stop using Text2Air or request account closure, subject to any agreed contract terms.
15. Disclaimers
Text2Air provides software and production infrastructure. It does not provide legal advice, editorial advice, financial advice or professional journalism advice. AI-generated drafts and outputs may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and approving content before publication.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Text2Air is not liable for indirect loss, consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill, platform demonetisation, third-party account restrictions, third-party outages, or loss caused by customer content, customer approvals or third-party services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including the Australian Consumer Law where it applies.
17. Your indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you will indemnify and hold harmless Text2Air and its people from any third-party claim, loss, liability or cost, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your content, your editorial approvals, your connected accounts, your presenter or likeness rights and consents, or your breach of these Terms or of any applicable law or platform or provider terms.
This reflects that Text2Air relies on third-party providers whose own terms require Text2Air to stand behind the content and rights passed through to them. Text2Air will notify you of any such claim, you may participate in the defence, and Text2Air may take control of the defence of any claim that could affect the service or other customers.
18. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts of that jurisdiction have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
